A faithful companion at your side let you be independent ...
Currently, the R.I.B-LINE 4.7 L is the latest boat development of the Pischel company. As from now, it is replacing the Pischel R.I.B-LINE 4.7 C model which was built for more than three years. Contrary to the well-known bestselling 4.7 C, the new 4.7 L provides a 25cm longer hull in the bow. The overall length hasn’t changed though. The skipper, however, may only notice the difference after entering the boat. The bow side stowage box has been enlarged to such an extent that the 4.7L can be considered on a par with anything and everything in its category, especially in their bigger brothers, when it comes down to the storage space. In addition to this, with the centre of waterplane having moved forward by 25cm and the hull shape being stretched, the ship is now capable to perform more swiftly when the sea is rough. The tube cones and the overhang of the tube in the stern section have been reduced to an absolute minimum. To put in the old sailor’s slang: “Length makes the ship run fast.”
The R.I.B-LINE 4.7 L is one of the few 4.7 types which fall into the CE category “B”. Any operator of a category “B” pleasure craft in offshore waters stands a much better chance to safely return to his home port when caught in a storm. The “B” certification is no accident. A boat is seaworthy when it complies with European standards and passes the tests of officially recognized testing agencies. The ribline meets all requirements of a „B“ certification. Criteria for these boats are, for example, a self-draining cockpit when the boat is at idle, a higher-than-average buoyancy due to the great hull and tube volume, extremely good stability standards because of its aspect ratio, and as its manufacturing is put on a firm footing, it can be powered by an engine providing more than 66kW (90PS). Authorities as well as private clients appreciate this inner worth of the 4.7L.
At customer’s special request, the 4.7L boat can be lit by means of a diesel in-board engine and Z-propulsion. Customers who wish to use the boat as a seaworthy tender for authorities or a luxury work tender on deck of a super yacht may find this combination especially attractive. But we can also supply a customer’s need for a JET propulsion. If required, the 4.7L EFB boat is available with a 98.6 KW (134 PS) Weber V2 engine with jet propulsion. The engine-propulsion unit weighs less than 125kg and provides high efficiency. The overall weight of the jet model doesn’t exceed 500kg depending on the equipment.
The 4.7L boat has been designed to appeal customers who are able to tow only one compact offshore inflatable boat by their normal passenger car or camper van. Therefore an unbraked trailer should often do. The recommended engine power of 29.4 up to 55.2 KW (40 - 75 PS) and the tank volume of 50l up to 105l let your boat achieve an enormous range. There won’t be any need to daily elbow your way through a mass of ship owners queuing up at the only gas station in the vespertine dock traffic.
